Our origins

IT Smart was formed in 1987 as an IT consulting firm.  Initially focusing on integrating the disparate systems which clients had allowed to creep into their organisations over time, IT Smart integrated them to achieve a common corporate outcome.  One important outcome of this process was the look and feel of documentation produced by legacy systems.

Identifying a need to turn the often plain and dull output of traditional computer systems into something worthy of sending to a customer, IT Smart embarked on a stringent evaluation process of products in the marketplace.  Finally we settled on NuVu Software.  NuVu has a range of products which directly and effectively address a glaring need in modern day IT Systems – make boring output attractive!

IT Smart has customers across Australia and New Zealand.  NuVu is installed around the Australasian area.  With recent partner additions such as INFOR, our reach is now focusing on Asia-Pacific. 

Our mission is simple.  Provide effective software to vendors or end users to enable them to complete that often elusive final step of simplifying output and to make it appealing to look at.
